Description:

I saw the swap graphic on Pinterest (of course I did!), and I felt a familiar rush of creative joy flood my brain. The picture reminds me of a new-style old-fashioned bell pull, but of course there is no bell. Also, the original is made of wood, and we don't do wood (our postage is already way too high for lightweight cardboard items!). So here's my take on this cute creation: twinchies, made of lightweight cardboard, just like we use for ATCs, and 3 of them instead of 4, as shown. Pick your theme (flowers, cats, dogs, birds, ladies, children...), and make them complementary rather than identical. Please cover the back of each twinchie with pretty paper, so no bare cardboard is exposed. Join them together in an attractive manner (jump rings, decorated safety pins, ribbon, etc.), and add a loop at the top for hanging. The loop may be as simple as ribbon or twine, or you could add beads and such. Make your twinchies lovely, decorating them as you would an ATC. A business-size envelope will be perfect for this swap.

What are the size for twinchies? It's been a long time for me to remember!

Twinchies are 2-inch squares. It's like a weird language: inches (1 inch squares), twinchies (2 inch squares), rinchies (1 inch circles), betwinchies (1.5-inch circles), and ATC coins (2.5 inch circles)!
