Creative Card Challenge - Use a quote!

Handmade card challenge for June

The Challenge:

Use a quote as the focal point of your card.

The Detail:

1. You will make 2 cards for 1 partner. The cards must look different but can have the same quote.
2. The quote(s) must be inspirational, but general enough to suite a card (see point 6 for links to good examples).
3. The cards must be blank "all occasions" cards.
4. Maximum size should be about 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" (must fit inside a standard mail envelope) and minimum size is 4 x 4".
5. This card has an open theme (thus sender's choice).
6. For some inspiration, you can look at this card, this card or this card by Becca Feeken, this card by Julee Tilman, or this card by Amy Sheffer.

The purpose of the Creative Cards Challenges is to stretch your creative legs, so don't be shy, Be Creative!

The Rules:

The following "rules" are solely to give everyone a pleasant swapping experience:

• Only quality should be mailed out. Please put effort and care into what you make! Making a card in under 5 minutes don't count as care and effort.

• Make sure you use sturdy card stock for the base.

• Envelopes are not required, but if you want to you can include some :)

• This may be sender's choice, but please take a peak at your partners' profiles before mailing just to make sure you're not accidentally offending anyone.

• The usual 4.8 rating, no 1's or recent no-sends etc. apply and will be checked. Please don't join if you aren't certain that you can commit.

About the Creative Cards Challenges:

This is a series for paper crafters and stampers who love to make cards based on themes or using specific techniques/products, or even sketches! Starting from July 2009, there will be 2 complimentary swaps every month that can be combined for some added fun!
