Has your yarn stash taken over a corner of your home? Could you swear that you might be hearing mutterings and rumblings from beneath the piles? Are you tired of looking at the same old yarn day after day after day? If so, you are in the right place. Welcome, my crafty sisters, to the rectification of our yarn apathy!! To remedy this horrible aversion to our own yarn stash we will each send four skeins/cakes/hanks(however that particular yarn comes)to one partner. They may be all the same or entirely different, whatever floats your boat. I will not specify that each one has to be a complete skein or what have you but it does NEED to be enough to actually make something with. Those smaller bits would make for a nice little "extra" should you be so inclined. That being said, you may not request, specify or otherwise demand any sort of particulars(allergies excepted, of course). WE are at the mercy of our partners stash-don't you just love that! Also, because of the very nature of this swap there will not be a lot of turnaround time between partner assignment and mail dates. These are things we SHOULD already have. The fine print: Due to postage hikes and possible size of parcels, I'm afraid this one is US ONLY. A heartfelt apology to all my INTL friends. You may feel free to start an intl version yourself. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, after all. NEWBIES-Welcome! and enjoy your stay but remember karma catches up to us all. BAD SWAPPERS-you know who you are and so do I, don't bother signing up, you will be banned post-haste. Also of note, you should have a 4.5 rating or better or I will be contacting you to know the reason why. Besides the aforementioned particulars, I reserve the right to ban anyone whom I feel has become a detriment to our swap process(aka. cranky, demanding, whiny or peeves me off in other ways)or just gives off that hinky" I am SO gonna stiff my partner"vibe. Whatever you are tired of looking at is ok to send. While it is generally a good idea to take a gander at your partners profile and check their preferences, there is no rule that it has to be to their liking. After all, it can always be re-swapped at a later date.

howdy all! i just got back from a week long vacation in the mountains of oregon! awesome state if u ever get to go..and i am wading thru 100's upon 100's of emails..so far i only see one swap-bot email reminding me to mail my swap items.but so far i don't see anything stating who i am mailing my goodies off to...please steer me in the right direction! thank you! marie mea57_98

So I just got my package from my partner (thanks Fire) and I am trying to explain the purpose of the swap. So I say, "It's just a way of getting rid of the stuff you're sick of looking at." And he says, "So, what have you got in there? A bunch of other people's husbands?" I had to share that.

I'm an idiot! Went on vacation with the family 10 days ago and left the swap package inside the house. I emailed Mea5798 directly, but the package went out today. What a stupid thing to do on my first ever swap :(!

Kaylee thanks for the super awesome swap package :) Sort of makes up for the shaft I've been getting on swap bot recently....I thought that package was from my sp10 person! Awesome stuff girlie :)
