Fabric by the Month R1 - FIREWORKS

This is going to be a monthly swap with a different theme each month. Here is a list of the themes that will be featured thoughout 2009.

• July - fireworks
• Aug - flowers
• Sept - novelty prints
• Oct - polka dots
• Nov - fall/autumn prints
• Dec - winter prints

For this swap you will send 2 different fqs of 100% cotton fabric to 1 partner. This month's theme is Fireworks. Choose fabrics that remind you of the bright explosion of fireworks in the midnight sky. One good example would be a black fabric with an explosion of bright colors that look as if an artist took his paintbrush and just splashed paint all over it:) Or maybe a bright colored fabric that has alot of sparkle and shine. I think ya'll get the idea:))

Also, let's all include 1 surprise notion that goes along with the theme. You may choose to send a new spool of bright colored/coordinated thread, card of brightly colored buttons, new spool of sparkly ribbon (atleast 3 yards), etc. Any extras you choose to send are entirely up to you:))

One more thing....PLEASE....PLEASE....PLEASE....include a note in the package that has the swap name and your swap-bot uesername so that your partner will know without a doubt what swap this package is for and who it's from. I have received entirely too many packages that didn't have the swap or tag name and did not have the username of the person that sent to me. I have had to search several times to find out who to thank for the goodies. This is very frustrating to say the least!!!

To recap.....you will be sending:

• 2 fqs (100% cotton and each must be different unless you check with your partner and she/he would like 1/2 continuous yard of the same fabric in which case that would be fine:)
• 1 surprise notion of your choice that goes along with the theme
• Note with the name of this swap and your username so your partner may rate you properly.

This swap is open to all NFS members as long as you have atleast a 4.5 rating and no recent unexplained 1 or 3 ratings within the past 6 months.
