This is a simple, fun swap. Below are 25 “If†statements. Complete each statement, using the word “then†followed by the way you think the statement should be completed! Don’t try to think too much about it – usually your first idea is the best! Have fun with this! 1 If pigs could fly… 2 If fools rush in where angels fear to tread… 3 If I could live one day (24 hours) as someone else… 4 If wishes were fishes…. 5 If I had a million dollars… 6 If the early bird catches the worm… 7 If I could write the great American novel… 8 If misery loves company… 9 If I were God… 10 (Bread) If a pictures paints a thousand words… 11 If a bird in hand is worth two in the bush… 12 If my cell phone fell into a public toilet… 13 If I could ask God one question (and get a verbal answer)… 14 If early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise… 15 If it’s too good to be true… 16 (Kipling) If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs… 17 If it aint broke… 18 If I had eyes in the back of my head… 19 If it’s true that beauty is only skin deep… 20 If I had an unlimited gift card from Walmart… 21 If there were 28 hours in a day… 22 If hell hath no fury like a woman scorned… 23 If my significant other gave me the perfect gift… 24 If the kid(s) would be quiet for one minute… 25 If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing… Cut and paste the statements into your email, and type the answer beside them. CC blind copies if you post to everyone as the same time. Since this is an easy swap, there will be several partners. (I hate trying to keep track of rating, sending and making sure I have been rated for too many partners – and when there is good creative writing, it’s a shame not to share with several!) So – lets trade with 5 partners each. While I cannot tell you how to give hearts, I can tell you that I usually give a heart for well written pieces that make sense (in as much as something like this can make sense!), are easy to follow and make me smile (or laugh!), and/or there may be two or three “If – Then†statements of their own. International, Newbies with filled out profiles welcome. If you have doubts or questions, pm me. |
