Envie of Ephemera

This is probably a stupid question, but do pages from books and magazines count as ephemera? They probably aren't if ephemera is usually things you throw away but then photos aren't either. (I'd love to join the swap but have mostly books and photos and things like that, not tickets and labels and such).

According to the swap-bot glossary:

Ephemera - is transitory written and printed matter not intended to be retained or preserved. Examples include: bookmarks, catalogues, greeting cards, letters, pamphlets,postcards, posters, prospectuses, stock certificates, tickets and zines. Some swappers are specifically looking for vintage ephemera.

I do think of magazines as ephemera, but that might just be me...basically, if it will wind up in the recycling bin, it is ephemera in my book.

Ooo, that is a good point! Is this swap for vintage or modern day ephemera? Or both?
