Whispers from the past #3– Halloween- historical letters in character

“Dear sister, I wish you were here. Halloween is not same without you. Who is going to dress me up, who Is going to do the most outrageous tricks. Who is going to scare Mr. Willington off from me if you are not here. Mama is doing the best she can, destroying gin-bottles after another. Since father left... well, you know...”

Do you like medieval life? Or is Victorian society your favourite? This swap is for people interested in history and/or rolegames. You will write two letters ‘in character’. You can choose the period of history, your character, circumstances etc. For example, you can write as solder, who has been sent to WWII or Victorian Lady, telling her newest rumours to her best friend.

This time we have a theme for the letter; HALLOWEEN! Be creative and enjoy :-)

Hints and Guidelines: - write the letters from ‘this world’, no elves in Middle Earth or Witches from Diskworld. - Period can be from the past, present or future, you choose - Letter should be at least 2+ pages long - This is not a rule, but you could try to make your letter to look like a bit more ‘authentic’, Personally I’d not like to see typed letter on copypaper, unless the letter is from present/future. Parchment papers and calligraphy pens rocks ;-) - You can also send small ‘normal’ message along the letter with your address, if you would like to get a ‘in character’ reply to your letter. - You don’t need to reply to the letter you receive if you don’t want to.

Rules: - This swap is international and newbie friendly. Everyone with fillet profile and ‘no-send’ can join! - Letter must be posted before end of the September -09 - You will have ONE partner
