I love the song If U Seek Amy!

I'm just wondering, but everyone knows what that Britney Spears song is actually saying, right? Lol ^_^

I think she is just trying to send you a subliminal message. No meaning? Cause that is what I find in the "hit" songs nowadays...no meaning or it is about love.

I hate that song.. but that's just because my 7 and 8 year old neices are running around saying "If you seek Amy" because our local pop station just can't play it enough.

Did she just HAVE to find a way around the censor block so a bunch of little kids can run around spelling "F*** Me" without realizing it? (Which is what the title does whether ya knew it or not) That's classy.. especially for a mom.

As far as the swap goes.. great idea, I don't mind songs with explicit lyrics.. I just don't think young ears should hear them...

Yeah, it's just sad isn't it? The other song that disgusts me is "I get off" by Halestorm

I mean... really? Is that all we have to write songs about anymore? Not having fun with friends... or falling actual love, or family, or anything like that... just.. crude lyrics that all the 13 year olds listen to just drops my jaw.

I dunno, explicit lyrics to me is a cuss word here and there for emphasis.. Maybe a little dirty word.. who knows. But not the whole song about something like that.. especially to hear it on a pop radio station daily.

and yes I realize I sound like I'm 60 and lived through the Great Depression, lol. I'm only 22, but if I wanna hear those kinds of words, coded or not, there are some late night stores I can go to.

The Script actually has a song with the title 'If You See Kay' which is where I got it from. It really is a decent song.
