This is a USA only swap. Sorry to everyone else, this is just a quickie swap, and it takes a bit longer to send/receive internationally. I have other swaps that are international.

ANYONE can join this swap, newbies or long-time Swappers. :)

This swap is meant to receive ratings fast, for newbies and those who feel they have been rated unfairly. You can choose ONE of any item to send to THREE partners, so that's three ratings!

Please note : you do not HAVE to pick from this list - it's just to give you ideas. PLEASE do not send junk. Gum wrappers (for example) and dirty and heavily used items will not be accepted. BUT just because you get something you don't like doesn't mean you can rate unfairly. Make sure you do read your partner's profile to make sure they don't have any allergies. Other than that, have fun!

Suggestions * Greeting cards. * Handmade envelopes. * A pack of gum, mints, or candy. * A sheet of stickers. * Anything crafty you think your partner would like. * A mixed CD. - Make sure you include a track listing. * A notebook/journal - storebought or handmade. * An ATC. * A pack of 5 swap cards* * Body spray, lotion, or the like. * unused postage stamps (.41 cents each) * unused postcard stamps (.26 cents each) * memo pad * stationary sheet with matching envelope * kitchen magnets * 1 sheet of address labels (printed with partners name & address) * 1 pack of post-it notes * Anything inexpensive you think your partner would enjoy.

  • A swap card is something you send along with a swap to identify the swap they are sending. These can be handmade or printed, or both! They must include a place to write the swap name, a place to write comments, and must have "Their name AKA Their Display Name" (Unless they're the same!) on the card. These have to be at least the size of a normal business card, but feel free to be creative!

PLEASE make sure you're sending something YOU would like to receive. This is supposed to be a fun and easy swap. I've never had any problems personally but I want to make sure everyone gets a good swap! :)

Please list any allergies below ; but don't request anything. This is a surprise swap!

Feel free to get packages ready ahead of time. However - don't seal it until you make sure you're not sending anything that your partner is allergic to. That way you wont feel so rushed.

If you want a heart : Make it a super special package, maybe pick two or three items from the list, personalized to your partner's profile.

Since my profile doesn't include the small stuff in life: I love horses (not glittery girly ones tho. wink) and I enjoy recieving little objects you can safely add to an ATC (like a scrapbooking embellishment)... stickers of words or with words/phrases on them, rub-ons of all sorts, stamps, gel/puffy pens, etc... post-it-notes/stickynotes are always a safe bet too, as I use them all the time! :) I make my own labels, so please none of those, thanks!

Hi thank you for having these for newbies and for having USA only. I just mailed my first swap it went to Australia and it wieghed 3lbs and it cost $36 to ship ouch. I want to some international but maybe with that price I will only be doing one a month. Oh and when I read the description I thought you were joking when you said no Gum wrappers do people really send that stuff? LOL. Anyhow I hope my partners love what I will be sending. Remeber it is better to give then receive.

That's crazy! Did they give you the highest shipping price? I've haven't sent anything that weighed that much overseas since the postage hikes.

No one has sent it yet, but it's been done in other swaps before. I just wanted to be safe. :)

No they didn't in fact that was without Delivery Confirmation They said I could not get that overseas. Well now I know not to send anything that weighs that much overseas. It was a Candy swap so thats why it was so heavy and I kinda went overboard with what I sent. Live and Learn I guess.

i'm excited about this one - i'm an absolute newbie and love this idea, because surprises are fun as long as they're worthwhile :)

my partner should know that I love to scrapbook and I love eclectic music. my profile's got more, check that. and i'm not allergic to anything. :)

This sounds like a great ideal! I am new to this and I can't wait to see what shows up in my mail! I just love to get surprises in the mail instead of bills! BTW I love tigers and anything to do with them. Hope this is as much fun as it sounds like!

I just wanted to say that I got received the last of my packages from this swap today. Everything was so wonderful, this was one of my first swaps (other than a 6x6 paper swap) and I was very pleased. I really wasn't sure what to expect. Thanks to my partners for making this a very pleasant first swap experience!!
