Description: | |
The purpose of this swap is to give someone a peek into what someone else's beliefs are. There are SO many ways of viewing the world out there, we can't possibly be familiar with all of them. So let's swap some knowledge with each other =) Whether you are religious, spiritual, philisophical, atheist, or maybe just "wandering" right now... create a postcard with a quote that is meaningful to you and an image that would seem appropriate with it. For instance, a Buddhist might use a quote from the Dalai Lama on a picture of a Buddha statue. A Christian could use a Biblical quote in front of a cross. Religious imagery is not mandatory though-- if you feel your quote evokes more a sense of wonder in nature, for instance, then by all means use a picture of a forest or whatever feels right. You will send one postcard to each of two partners. They can be the same or different, they can be handmade or store bought. But please make sure it's something meaningful to you, and include the source of the quote. If there's room on the card, you could include a little blurb about why you find this quote meaningful.
This swap was created from an idea born in the Interfaith Swapping Group. Come check us out! We'd love new members. |
