Description: | |
A lot of ATCs done here and elsewhere concentrate on the mixed mediums as collage, etc. I like to see photographs made into ATCs, I print them on canvas paper, or glossy stock and some even look very good trimmed by 1/8" all the way around and mounted on a bit of black cardstock. This swap is to send 2 ATCs to each of 2 partners The ATCs can be of any theme, as long as a photograph you have taken is a major part of it. You can use a blurry or otherwise imperfect picture for an abstract background,, or you can cut or tear a photo into parts to assemble into a collage, or the ATC can be just a fine example of your photographic skill and talent, mounted on a suitable sturdy piece of stock. Make sure you label the ATCs with a title, your name, the swap name and any technical info you'd like to share about how you made it, or what the pictures might be--tell your partner if it's a commercially printed pic, or one you printed off your home printer, laser or inkjet, etc. Also, please put your Swap-bot id on the envelope and inside it so it'll be easier to know who is sending what when rating time comes around--also to be sure the contents can be identified if the post office mangles the envelope. The photos can be color, or b&w, digital or film, as long as they are your personal creation. Please don't sign up if you are a habitual no-sender, or have less than a 4.8 rating. I'm tired of hearing about people not getting what they are due! Have the decency and the gumption to only sign up for swaps you are committed to fulfilling--also, spend the extra change to send your ATCs with delivery confirmation--at least that way there will be some method to track them if they get lost. Newbies are welcome if they have a completed Swap-bot profile. |
