HPC: Postcard Challenge--Nontraditional Halloween

This is the first in our Postcard Challenge Series.

For this swap, we will be creating a postcard using nontraditional Halloween colors (no Black, no Orange and no White). This will be a short turnaround so start thinking about your designs now. You can use traditional images (bats, ghosts, etc) but just not the traditional colors we associate with Halloween.

Sign up deadline is October 9, 2009. In consideration of our international swap partners, please send your postcard by October 23, 2009.

You are to make one card for each of two partners. The rest is artist’s choice. The design of the card can be the same for each partner if you wish. The orientation is artist’s choice as well.

P.S. I don't want anyone stressing out by the theme. You have the widest latitude to express the season. If your partner might not understand the representation of the theme explain it on the back of the card. I want everyone to have fun with this swap. You can work on this in advance since the swap is not partner profile specific.

This is open to all members in good standing.

P.S. This swap is running in conjunction with the Traditional Halloween Postcard Swap. You can join either one but I would really like people to sign up for both if possible.
