You'll swap three handkerchiefs with one person. Vintage handkerchiefs are easy to find at thrift and antique stores and are usually priced between $1 and $5 each. The limit on this swap is $10. Finding unblemished/unstained vintage hankies is an art, but it is possible. Please send hankies in best condition, but a little wear is okay and usually unavoidable. You may even want to launder them first, if they'll stand up to a trip through the delicate cycle. Many see carrying a handkerchief as old-fashioned, but it's an environmentally friendly choice and those carrying hankies are viewed as well-educated by the Japanese.
