Altered tags: saints and angels

For this swap we will be altering a tag, depicting our favorite saint or angel/archangel.

The rules:

1) One tag for one partner, focusing on an image of any Christian saint or angel (please no random images of cherubs/angels. They must be depictions of angels mentioned in religous text. Ex. Michael, Gabriel, etc.)

2) Your tag may be bought or handmade, and any size.

3) You may use any technique or medium to create/alter your tag. HOWEVER you MUST add some kind of embellishment. No gluing a sticker or cut out image onto cardstock, and calling it done. Please add some extra decoration to it (beads, ribbon, silk/paper flowers, sequins, fabric, charms...etc.) If you fail to do this, your partner may rate accordingly.

4) Please include a written note explaining why you chose that particular saint or angel; any special connection you have, if they are your patron or name saint, or some facts/story connected with them.

Since we're making only one tag. Lets put our best effort forward into making something beautiful. And obviously nothing degrading or insulting whatsoever. This is a swap to celebrate these holy people.

Requirements:

You must have at least a 4.9 rating

Newbies welcome provided you have at least 3 completed, mailed, and rated swaps finished.

Also, you do not have to be Catholic to participate. All religions (or no religions) welcome. As long as you are respectful and have an open mind :-)
