When cool weather upon us and the cost of postage I thought I would host a tea swap which is USA only. Nothing really original here you will have 2 partners and send each of them 3 tea bags or enough loose tea for at least 3 cups all tea must be factory sealed. Tea bags must be individualy wrapped/sealed by the factory. This is senders choice . If you wish to aim for hearts you might wish to check your partners profile and swap teas that are to thier liking, or include a small extra or two that you feel they will enjoy. Again you will have 2 partners and send each of them 3 tea bags or enough loose tea for at least 3 cups all tea must be factory sealed. Swap sign up deadline Nov. 3, 2009 Send date Nov. 10, 2009 I reserve the right to ban anyone with little or no information in their profile. This is solely at my discretion.

May I ask... how does one send LOOSE tea that is "factory-sealed"? For other swaps, I've bagged portions myself to send out and gotten no complaints. Please let me know as I'd love to join this swap!

You can purchases small (sample) packets of loose tea which is factory sealed. I have done this myself in the past. granted I had to go to a specialty store to purchase it this way.

This requirement is for your partners peace of mind. I've received loose tea in zip lock baggies in the past and felt that while my partner was probably OK. I could not add the tea to my collection and feel safe about anyone drinking. Yes it is my own baggage in this area but feel I am probably not the only one who feels this way.

The requirement of being sealed is great!! I love going to the herbal store and buying herbs to create my on tea's but I wouldn't want to send this to some one in a zip locked bag. Can't wait to see what I get!!

Question... teas like Celestial seasonings come in individual tea bags but NOT individually wrapped... how do you feel about receiving those? I am never sure if I should send them or not...

The bags must be individually factory sealed, there are many many excellects teas that seal individual bags.

Ok, so can we send tea bags like stash that are in it's own package or do they have to be individually plastic wrapped? Kind of confused now.

I just wanted to let my partners know I have had no internet access for the last week. I apologize for not getting these out in time. My ds has had a serious illness and had to go to the hospital. I will get them out by tomorrow. Thanks.
