Description:

It's been a long time since we had a group swap so I thought I'd start one now before the busy holiday season. This is quick, easy and will cost only two stamps.

Having reached our -- ah-hem -- "advanced" age, we have all probably lived in more than one place, many have lived many places. Let's share where our past and present home are -- just one past place unless you realy want to do more. This is it:

Two photos of your homes, one of a past, one present -- can be photos, inside or out, or post cards of the city or a landmark or typical scene.

Chatty note or letter telling your partner something about each place from whatever perspective you like.

The swap is international as we are an international group. We all have good swap records but I'll do a quick look before partners are assigned to check ratings.

I hope people who just come to glance now and then will join as well as the regulars who usually do -- it's good to get to know more people.

Thanks so much for doing this swap! I've been thinking about hosting one like this. I guess I'm just nosey, but I love to see where people live. I'd really love to see your house or apt. or whatever your abode.

I'd like to claim the photo on the swap is my home -- maybe we all would. Actually, it's the castle in Segovia, Spain, used in some swashbuckling movies I saw as a kid.

Sounds like fun! I'm going to have to dig for a past photo but I'm like KarenK I like to see where people that I'm swapping with are living and where they have lived. I'm doing a swap with people in Australia (it's an on going quilt block a month) and there's just a few of us in it and it's fun to get to know the other members. Isn't that what this is all about? Forming friendships around the world?........cl
