no that is right...if you send out of the US....scan a copy of your receipt or take a picture of you with the package...

elizabeth, I was looking at socks today, thinking that it would be good if we all sent in a pair or so to seed the package. Were you planning on providing the entire first selection? Or did you want us to start you off?

Is it possible to have a travel roster of the socks with maybe the aka names of swappers and states they live in emailed to us. Since this is a round robin it might be a good idea to know where we stand on the list. Help keep the channels of communication clear for all of us. Also with summer and possible vacation times set for some they will be able to see a time frame when the socks are expected on their doorstep.

Oops! I SPY A PROBLEM. On my partner list I see that I am to mail the sock package to Vicki and I'm suppose to receive the package from Danielle. The round robin route you have listed above is a bit confusing. Perhaps maybe email all the swap participants privately with the addresses of the entire round robin swap might help us out a bit and again keep everyone on their toes as to the arrival and departure of the round robin package.

hehe... if you read the list out loud and kind of on the fast side it sounds like you're an announcer for a horse race. :D Sorry, not enough sleep... DH is out of town for a week and he left lastnight. :(

just to let everyone know..you DO NOTsend to the person swapbot assigned you...this has nothing to do with it!!!! you follow the list i have assigned. i will be putting an address list in the package so do not worry about that! i have done another round robin on here and it is going smoothly so no worries

Since this swap is about communication...and posting DC numbers, etc. you will watch the boards! When you see that the person SWAP BOT assigned you has sent out and their partner recieved and commented, then you can leave that person feedback. Yes it is complicated but oh well! It is not too hard if you break it down. Like i said, COMMUNICATION

The sock envelope arrived on my doorstep today and I busted boody to get it shipped to the next swapper, Ragina, TODAY, since this round robin swap is a month late in starting the journey. The socks arrived in a large 9X12 manila envelope and after I swapped I repacked them in a large ziplock baggie, then put that inside a white 9X12 envelope. I have a feeling there are going to have to be new envelopes used at each swap point. When the envelope arrived it was pretty battered and that caused me to put the socks in something to keep them from getting wrecked.

Hey there! On campus we don't get mail on Saturdays... they gave me the package claim slip on Monday but when I checked the mail, the post office was already closed. I went and got it on Tuesday, however, and picked out three pairs of socks that I lurve! :D

I'll be sending it out this weekend when I go back home. I have midterms this week and don't even know where the post office is around here (aaaahg!) so it seems best to just wait 'til this weekend (Fall break!). Sorry for the delay!

Oh no! Crap! No there is no DC number. THe person who came with me needed to be back at the dorm by 6 and so we had to leave by 3 and I asked mom to drop off my packages at the post office... she asked me if "there were any funky forms to fill out" and I said no because most of them were books for bookmooch and paperbackswap then I left... I totally forgot she was taking the socks too. Ack!

They are on their way... oh dangit. I really hope they don't get lost.

It is 2020 and the guilt of flaking on this swap has never left me. I think I flaked on it anyway. I had a house fire in October of 2007 and that was the death nell for a swap I was already behind in. I don’t remember who my partner was but I will try to find out and make good. So sorry!
