GROUP: Monthly COTM 7 inch grannies January

I thought it would be nice to start the year of swaps, getting back into the granny squares.
So, why not a year of squares!!!

INTERNATIONAL

COTM stands for the "Color of the Month". This sia monthly swap with a different color theme each month.

You will send 2 - 7 inch granny squares to 2 partners - that is a total of 4 squares. The color for this month is BLUE & SILVER. the squares can be made from any pattern you want, but must be made with the 2 colors. Please use only 4-ply acrylic worsted weight. Be sure to measure your squares carefully and make sure they are 7" give or take no more than a 1/4".

DO NOT ADD A BORDER TO THE SQUARES!!! If your partner wants a border added to the square, she will add it herself, in the color that she prefers. PLEASE, just make the total size of the square 7" with NO BORDER!!! thank you :) :)

Here are the color themes for the year. As you can see it is 2 colors per square sets. Each swap will begin on the 5th of the month and send-out will be on the 4th of the following month.

* January - Blue & Silver 
* February. - Purple & Yellow
* March - Aqua (teal) & white
* April - Chocolate Brown & Pink
* May - Peach & Green
* June - Gold & Maroon
* July - Red/White & Blue
* August - senders choice (2 colors or varigated)
* September - Earthtones (tans, creams, browns, neutrals, 2 colors or variegated)
* October- Black & Orange
* November - Autumn colors (burnt orange, rusts, reds, yellows, 2 colors or variegated)
* December - Assorted Christmas colors (can be single colors like red, green, white, but use 2 colors or variegated Christmas)

You don't have to join every month. You can pick and choose the months you want to swap. :)

This swap is open to all members of "Granny Squares Galore Group" but anyone who flakes, will be banned from the group. I know we won't have a problem here. :)
