Do you have a good template you'd recommend? I've never done handmade envelopes before, but would like to start.

This is what I use and you can make the envies almost any size.

Hope it helps.

I'm wondering if you could elaborate on "winter theme" please.

Never mind. I found a winter theme paper stack. :)

I'd say for a winter theme... blues, snowflakes, snowpeople, sleds, hats, mittens, skiing... stuff like that.

Penquins, mugs of cocoa, ... I just thought of those.

Here's a tip for making handmade envelopes. Just take any envelope and carefully take it apart. Trace around it and there you go - an envelopes template. For a sturdier template, trace onto heavy cardstock, or get some quilter's plastic if you want a see-through template. This is good if you make envelopes from calendar pages, etc. - so you can see through to get good placement for the design. Have Fun!
