So, I am having a rotten, horrible, terrible day! Just found out my 5 year old son is suspended from school because the health board doesn't have a record of his immunization...which he has had! So three days before Christmas holidays (you know, when they have their Christmas party, do crafts, sing carols etc) he will be missing it. Well, I need a pick me up. A reason to shop as well as something to look forward too! The theme will be the colors pink and brown. Put together a lucky parcel worth $10-$15. Can be fabric, candles, candies, craft supplies, buttons, charms, stuffies, stationary...the possibilities are endless!!!! Once again, if you do a search on Flickr For "FAA Lucky Parcels", you can get some wonderful ideas! Make it something you would love to receive and remember to package to match the theme! I'm off to go plan an "at home" Christmas party now! Have fun swapping!!!

Aw...that's such a bummer for your son! I'm sure you'll have a fabulous at home party though :) This sounds like an awesome swap, but I'll wait until a bit closer to the sign up date to see if I can do it because things are starting to get really crazy time-wise for me.

Wouldn't be so bad, but the poor kid missed his Halloween party when he was down with H1N1! But the promise of pizza and a "possible" early present goes a long way!!

Update.... Went to the library, went to the mall, had timbits, sat on Santas lap (him, not me) spun the wheel at the Scotia bank booth and won a flashlight, had pizza for lunch, and made a Christmas door hanger. He's not sad about missing school today. New problem....he doesn't want to go back to school at all now!!! LOL

I am going to have to wait till another round. I know you already moved the date on this, but with the holidays, and then I am going to be out of town for a week in January. I know you will be doing more of these, so I am not worried about missing out this time. Hope everyone has fun with it.
