I love swapping and I love getting mail but it can be super expensive. So I thought it would be nice to do a swap that just cost the price of a stamp to send. For this swap you will have 3 partners, you will send in a regular greeting card/letter envelope a short letter saying hi :) and 1 of the items on the list. You can NOT send anything that will cost more than 1 stamp to send. There is no price range on this, if you want to buy the list item you can but I recommed finding something you already have or making something so that the swap stays inexpensive (But Not Crap Please). You can send more than one,if you can fit it, if you are aiming for hearts thats up to you. The List: Sticker, A sketch/drawing by you and signed. Homemade Envelope Card A Zine Bookmark Notecard Craft Instruction Ribbon Gift Tag Few beads or Small light charm Memo sheet Labels Stamp (kind you mail used or unused) Paper money from another country A pen or pencil Pressed flower or leaf Sheet of pattern paper Magazine Picture Postcard ATC ATC sleeve Or something flat from your partners profile. You must have one rating or be rated by the sign up date to join. And no 1's in the last 2 months without e-mailing me first. Happy Cheap Swapping :)

Ahhh thanks, its too bad about the rules but there have been some people joining swaps getting stuff from partners and not sending back anything. Its so dissapointing when that happens. I know that this does not eliminate "Bad" swappers but it helps to know that the people in the swap have a history of sending. Hope to see you in here soon :) Kris

Agota: Well, it says "International" in the name of the swap now... ;)

I'm not sure if this is sad or funny: I could only join if this swap was Europe only, since the German post did not issue any stamps of the value that corresponds to the postage for a standard letter outside of Europe.

Can the paper stamp be the kind that the US Postal service calls a tape stamp? I ask because I know it cost 90 cents to mail a postcard from US to most other countries. I don't know how much a greeting card envelope would cost but I don't think the post office sells one stamp for Int'l. I can do a tape stamp but then it could be set for any amount, although I would opt to keep the price low. Does this work? I really enjoy swapping with Int'l people and would like to play.

moowee, adacutandapaste and Xebby, I sent your one stamp envies today. Thank goodness I took the to the post office personally. Little more than 41Â¢ was needed so I followed the one stamp rule buy having the clerk print off a tape stamp(Bawaahhhhhaaaa) Please let me know when you get them.
