Thriftiest Thrifter: White Milk Glass Challenge

Ah, bah. I live in an expensive area and half the time even white milk glass is more than $5. O_o

Not sure what they are but it looks like fun. I will check the thrift store next week for what they have before I sign up.

I find milk glass here for .10 cents up to $100.00. The flea markets always have it for under a $1.00. If you look in the right corner of your thrift stores or open up cabnits that stuff is sitting on you would be suprised at what you may find. I looked under a cabnit last Friday and found a Huge clear trash bag fulll of lace, i thought it was a tabel cloth, when i opened the bag i was suprised to see that it was yards up on yards of nice Fintage lase. They are wraped on the plastic and wood spools thay came on. With a price tage of .10 cents a yard. I was so happy. I bought the whole dang bag for a DOLLAR!! I couldn't tell you how many yards there are yet, i am still counting. They range from a 1/4 in wide to 6in wide. I don't use a lot of lace but a lot of people here are asking for it so i will be putting lace in with most of my swaps for a while. LOL Well if tit's on the profile. And i have found a use for some ofr valentine's day.. Any how you really have to look in these stores you will be suprised..

Looks like fun, too pricey to mail overseas for me!
