Beginner's ATC Swap #1: Free Theme

Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards, or 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (6cm X 9cm), small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets. The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland.

Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc), paper media (in the form of collage, paper cuts, found objects, etc). The cards are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold.

DO Rules: ~ DO create 3 ATCs. You will send all 3 to one partner. ~ DO any kind of media you want. Paint, collage, markers, etc. ~ DO any kind of theme you want. This is sender's choice. More themed swaps will be in the future. ~ DO include a short (1-2 pages) letter explaining your ATC and introducing yourself. ~ DO have a rating of at least 4.5 and a filled out profile. ~ DO mail by Feb 18th, 2010.

DON'T Rules: ~ DON'T swap ATC's which are not made by you. ~ DON'T rate negatively based on whether or not you liked the design. Rate a 5 if it arrived on time and followed the swap guidelines.

~~~~~~~~~~ That's about it. I can angel if need be, but of course we all know that since we're mature persons of human origin that flaking will not occur on this swap. (Raises large threatening stick over her shoulder). I will be checking profiles and if you don't have a filled out profile or seem otherwise shady then I will drop you like.... a hot potato.
