Description:

There are so many artistic memorials in cemeteries out there I thought another swap might bring in more interesting ones. These are such beautiful tributes to the departed. In the 1800's tributes to the departed were very imported to those left behind.

I think we should send two to two people in the swap. So, you can send the same ones to each.
4 total - 2 to each swapper Put on the back of photo or on a piece of paper or card where you photographed it. If you are sending one that you have swapped before with someone just write down what country it might be from.
Newbies (with filled out profile) certainly welcome. I will check profiles. This is a no brainer swap and I will angel if anyone gets a flaker.

I have a photo I took of the same gravesite used for the swap photo! Gracie Watson at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA (which is full of beautifully sculpted memorials). Watching!:)

what are the swappers requirements? can newbies join or must have a certain rating?

ladydy5 01/26/2010 #

Sorry, will edit.

TeaNi I hope you took others that were there. A wonderful cemetery to see how artistic these sculpturers were in the 1700-1800's.

I am watching this swap, but have a question...I have been experimenting with pinhole photography. Would a low-tech picture be okay for this swap, or do you prefer to stick with digital? I don't want someone to be disappointed with something grainy!

I personally would not mind that at all. Pin .hole photography is very exciting . Join in and lets see. When you get your swapper discuss this with her/him. Anyone who loves to do photography would maybe enjoy seeing something that is different.

are there size requirements for the pics? Are you looking at an atc size or 5x7? Can they be black and white?

ladydy5 02/18/2010 #

Anything but really a 4 x 6 is better.
