Description:

Using your shiniest metallic fabrics, threads, beads and fibers, make 2 ATCs, 1 for each of your two partners.

  1. ATCs must be made primarily from fabric, sewn- by hand or machine, with the exception to needlefelting. The only glue allowed is if you choose to adhere a paper backing for your info.

  2. You must inlcude at least one real metal element to each of your cards. This could be charms, wire, brads, staples, paper clips, smashed bottle caps(seal them so they don't rust), watch gears, washers, etc. But, they must be sewn down or somehow threaded or woven into your fibers. No glue!

  3. Cards can be embroidered, quilted, appliqued, beaded, fabric collaged, needlefelted(fine steel wool?) or any other fabric related arts.

Any style, any theme, 3.5"x2.5"

While looking for something else, I came across this ATC on Flickr (titlted Compart-metal) that has a zipper, snaps, hook & eyes, etc. Made me think of this swap!

That's a great ATC, I must have some of those little hook & eyes in my old needle box!
