Quilted Wallhanging for Beginners - Intl

This is the third in a series of swaps designed for anyone who is new to quilting. It follows my Beginner Quilted Fabric PC and Beginner Quilt Block Swaps.

While this swap is primarily for anyone who is pretty much a beginner, experienced quilters are also welcome!

For your 1 partner you will make an approximately 12" square (finished), 100% cotton, quilt block, in any pattern of your choice, then quilt and finish it so that it can be hung on the wall. (It may end up being a bit smaller or larger than 12x12 when you are done, but that is ok.) Please refer to your partner's profile for their colour preferences.

Some ideas for a hanger: sew a quilt sleeve onto the back, tack ribbon to 2 corners and tie in a bow, sew a drapery ring onto the back.

If you want to make a winter/holiday themed wallhanging, such as for Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, St. Patty's Day, etc., please check your partner's profile first, or contact them, to make sure it is acceptable.

The Rules: 1.You must have a fully completed profile (not just a few words). 2.You must have a rating of at least 4.6 with no one ratings in the last 6 months. 3. You must have at least 5 substantial, rated swaps (no electronic/cyber, letter, list, purchased PC, etc. swaps) by the sign-up date.

While I ban after sign up date and reserve the right to do so for any reason I see fit, please do let me know if you have any concerns with anyone who has joined.
