When I think of the 80's I immediately think of music -- I loved 80's music!! Funny how 20 years later we still know the words to entire songs and even if you haven't heard certain songs in years, once you hear it you know it and sing it at the top of your lungs! You know the music...Madonna, Prince, Cyndi Lauper, Culture Club, Motley Crue, Adam Ant, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Twisted Sister, Bel Biv Devo, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Falco, Tears for Fears, Run DMC....oh gosh, I could go on and on and on.....!!! For this swap, you will create your own 80s Music 'zine and send a copy to two partners. You can choose the size, color, b&w, style etc etc as how you wish to make your zine but please have it at least 8 sides (4 front and back) You can learn how to make a mini 'zine from this link -- http://www.knowledgeup.com/2007/11/05/diy-mini-8-page-pocket-zine/ -- but as I stated, you can make it however small or large you wish :) Any questions post below...hope to see you sign up!!!

I havent done one either and I want to. The link shows how you make one but can you also put pages together and staple them? And the zine is about music so its all about the lyrics or about bands etc? Lastly, it all has to be typed correct? Thanks for doing this--I'm super excited!!!

you can create your zine anyway you want about music...the bands, the lyrics, top songs, one hit wonders etc etc etc....so many different topics you can choose! You can staple your zine together that's totally fine!! And nope, zine's can be typed, written, drawn....anything goes with a zine - there are no real rules to it! It's all up to you to create any way any how...!! :)

OK so I got my 1st zine last week and it was really neat! So now I am going to have to try my hand at this! It looks like fun! This would be an awesome theme for my very first zine!
