Donation Swap--Pillowcases for boys

Calling all kind-hearted sewers! This is a great opportunity to use up some of those stashes and do some good!!

The organization ConKerr Cancer is looking for pillowcases for children. You can find their website here.

This is a call specifically for boy-themed pillowcases since my contact with the organization has said these are hardest to come by: "I always have a shortage for appropriate little boy, and older preteen and teenage boy pillowcases."

This is a quick and easy item to make. You don't need to be an experienced sewer. For some instructions, you can visit their site or if you have other pillowcase instructions to offer, post a link to them below!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure to wash the fabric for the protection of the children with suppressed immunity. In addition, please place each pillowcase in its own ziplock bag. Cotton or flannel ONLY.

Instructions You will send the pillowcases to me and I will pass them on to my contact.

You will send your partner a photo of the pillowcase(s) and a little note about the process or why you joined in. I'll allow either snail-mail or email. Make sure and let your partner know how you'll be contacting them that way they don't delete an email from a strange email address!

No limits on pillowcases. Send as many as you want to make. Let's give those little boys some love. I know some of you have more girl fabrics, so I've set up another swap for the girls here, but I want to make sure the boys get love!
