IF you have ever done one of these delightful little books (our's will be 4"x4") then your in for a another gem! This swap is not for newbies to Swap-bot! You must have been rated at least three times before you may join. A lot of work go's into these, so it's only fair that we have people that play nicely. As long as you don't have many no sent's, your in. This is an international swap RULES: (sorry gotta have them) 1.ALL pages must have a Mosaic theme!Meaning the background is made up by square inches. e.g.: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nathr3/816074175/ ANY and all media's are acceptable. This means that it has to have something other then the color of the paper. 2.ALL pages must be 4"x4". Please use a card stock that is not weak. Also, please measure to make sure that your's are this size. 3.You must have some sort of "texture", other wise why would we call this a chunky page? 4.You will have 5 partners You should have 5 pages when it's complete. Embellishments should generally be kept to the right or bottom edge no closer than Â¼â€? to the left (or binding) edge. Problems often include buttons, thick vines, branches and leaves, lace or fabric trim, page pebbles and more. If you are unsure of the embellishments you plan to use, itâ€™s in your best interest to consult with the me. Please wait until your page is dry before you mail it out. They make wonderfull gifts if you can part with it.

In your rules, it says "ALL pages front and back must have a Mosaic theme!" Does that mean we have to do mosaic on both sides of our 4 x 4?

Single sided. But it would be nice if you decorated the back with a nice piece of paper and your data: name, date of creation, name of the 4 x 4.

Should the mosaic be all the same color like your example? Or should it have some sort of a theme?

It's up to you, you can combine colors, make it monochromatic or use a theme just be creative

And half inch margin for binding at left of page, right? So 4" high by 4.5" wide?

Eeeeee, I wondered about that but when I saw the "Must be 4x4" I thought it meant the specific size had to be exactly 4x4, including the margin. That wouldn't be calamitous except I've already done them! Oh well - didn't end up doing the backs as I'd hoped last night, so an extra bit of card glued on first won't hurt :) Definitely 4x4.5, with a near-plain 0.5 on the left edge of the front, yes?

Mine are on their way to the post office.... Just a heads-up though, this morning's free paper said that the post office strikes are going to be 24 hours at the airports, and also some of the sorting offices, which means that airmail's going to be affected today/for the next while. Dammit :(
