dont you think that 20 partners is a bit too much?? I would definitely join if it was 4-5 partners.. but keeping track with all those emails, may be a bit much..

I have joined a few swaps recently with 20 partners and I love it. You can send one email and put all the addresses on bcc. I like having 20 partners also cause I am super into journaling and would love to get so many different ideas. However if we don't get enough people in I will be lowering the partner number.

LOL, unless you mean too much as in getting all the emails from other people. If that's what you meant what I do is make a folder in my mail and drag them all to that folder then I can go through them and look whenever I want. I have several swap-bot email swaps that I have saved in their own folder so I can check them out from time to time. I do hope you decide to join but if not sorry. :)

I'm a newbie and I'm giddy with excitement about this swap! I've got some good journal ideas, myself, and I'm going to go find links right now!

Are you looking for links for diary-journals or journaling on scrapbooking pages or what ? Journaling is so wide, but am sure you are looking for something special. Pls, help me out !

I am talking about journaling as in diary type journals. Of course the prompts I have seen could be used for scrapbooking as well but mainly I am thinking art journal, or diary type journals. Hope that helps.

I hope you'll repeat it from time to time as I can't sign up now and really like the idea. 20 people is a lot for me as well, the problem is not only the reading, but also the rating (I take time to write something suitable with each and every one).

I will think about hosting one when this finishes with less partners.

@marcsgirl wow, those are some awesome advices.. i must say, dunno why but i never came to think about it that way.. making a folder surely must help..

though i do have to agree a bit with @ SaraswatiChB because i also like to read each mail completely and give a feedback along with my rating.. and having so many partners makes this somewhat tiring.. Maybe the next one..

But I`m definitely into the idea of this swap.. i sometimes (like right now) get stuck when writing journals.. i sometimes google out for visual journals, they get me inspired..

I can see what you guys mean about it being a lot of partners. I just really love the idea of getting lots of nice links and advice. I will host another when this is finished and it will have less partners. Of course keep in mind that today is the last day to sign up and as of right now we only have 13 people in the swap. I will adjust the partners to the amount of participants.

On the other hand, having so many partners makes this a great way to get lots of good ratings all at once.

Just FYI, keep in mind you only have 12 partners since you will be number thirteen. :)
