sewing whimsey jar

The jar you use can be any kind of jar as long as you decorate it in a pretty way.

If you use clear glass, be sure to decorate the lid at least.

The size requirment is that the top needs to measure AT LEAST 3 inches wide and the jar needs to be AT LEAST 4 inches tall. It can absolutely be bigger, but anything smaller will not meet swap requirements.

For this, you will FIND A WAY to fit at least 8 of the following items:

zipper

spool of thread

embroidery floss

safety pins

scissors

10 buttons of any size

tailors chalk or pencil

thread ripper

Thimble

.FQ

straight pins

quilting pins

sewing needles

.sewing machine needles

.3 yards of ribbon...one continuous piece

snaps of some kind to use in projects

. bobbins

.1 yard of velcro of any color (must be both pieces)

.an item you have made

a surprise item not listed on the list

This is senders choice (a great way to clear out the stuff you may not use anymore!), so you can get started on it right away.

If you can find a way to stuff more in the jar, you absolutely can if you want to!
