Show Yourself Some Love!

This is a hybrid spending swap and penpall type swap. The twist is, you spend the dough on yourself!

I've read in the forums that some swappers tend not to join spending swaps becasue it can be difficult to be sure that what you receive will be of the same quality as what you send. And even if what you receive is of good quality, maybe it isn't quite to your taste.

So in this swap you take your $5 and buy yourself a little treat, guaranteeing satisfaction! It could be your favorite chocolate bar, candy, make up, craft supplies, renting a film, a book or magazine, bus ticket to visit a friend, trip to local swimming pool, ingredients for your favorite recipe - anything you like, use your imagination! It must be something that is a luxury, no putting it in savings or paying bills! I know money is tight for a lot of us but this is supposed to be an opportunity to spoil yourself, just a little!

Then send your partner a letter about how and why you spent your money. Introduce yourself as well, maybe write about where you live, your family, whatever you like. Include a photo if you like.

Don't worry if you go a little over $5.
