Description:

We have all been at the place where we are down in the dumps when it comes to creating and crafting. We have all wished that something would pop up and gift us some inspiration to do just about anything. This is what this swap is intended to cure. What we are going to do is create a package for our partner to give them so much inspiration that they are forced to sit down and create something Amazing. The swap will be set up in such a way that you both tailor it your partners taste and craft likes, as well as not be forced to go out and spend a lot of money for one single swap. I will provide a list of things that you may include in your package. Feel free to add to the list at the bottom if you think of other things that may be good to include in the pacakges! I will not be setting a monatary amount to this swap, as it is not a shopping swap. As easy as it will be to tailor to your recieving partner, this is a senders choice swap. Comments in the swap asking partners to send specific things or narrowing down the list will not be allowed, as well as rating down for such items bieng sent. Besides the fact that it takes away from the fun of the swap for all parties involved, we have a group of very gifted swappers and honestly, it shouldnt be a problem. Basically, trust that your partner will do an awesome job, and make sure you do the same for the person you are sending to, and we will all go home happy.

I understand that there does need to be a standard on which to base the rating, as sending someone 4 sheets of paper in this swap would not be an inspiration package. So instead of setting said monetary amount I am instead going to set a MINIMUM amount of items you are to send. You may send more, however you should not expect to recieve more, as the minumum is of course acceptable.

You must send at least 15 items from the above list. Be sure to spread out the types of items you send, as to really inspire your partner to get to crafting something!

The list I am going to provide is simply a guideline, if you have other ideas feel free to add those to the comments! If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

The list of what I came up with will be found below.. It may seem a little disorganized, but it is meant to be mildly vague, just to give everyone some ideas of where to start.

Down to logistics...Everyone will have one partner. You must have a 4.9 rating or higher, I understand that the requirement for the group is 4.8, however the stakes on this swap are a little higher, it does entail some work to get the package together. Any recent or unexplained 1's need to be run by me prior to the deadline, otherwise you will be banned. You're profile must be filled out and have a likes list and what type of crafts you like to do, this is a really important part of the swap. I will be checking the profiles of anyone new, and if it is not filled out before the deadline, I will ban from the swap. I will not be sending out reminders for these things, I expect everyone to read the entire swap before joining.

Again, if there are any questions or anything that needs clarified, let me know!

paper (No more than two of the same..)

Embellishments (Vary..Buttons, stickers, ribbon, etc...)

Motivational and inspirational quotes... (written in such a way that they can be put somewhere to look at or the quote i itself and a way to make it look pretty)

Pictures..(from postcards, magazines, cut outs, anything)

Pens//markers//crayons (any vibrant, pretty colors that would make you want to color..)

altereable goodies..(coins, dominoes, pendants, etc)

Great idea for a swap! I have to pass on international swaps but this sounds like a lot of fun. :)

postage is indeed a factor for int'l but the trade off is sometimes getting truly unique stuff from another corner of the world :) I've received some uber cool ribbon from Germany in patterns I cannot find anywhere near my part of the US, internet or not. I plan to include pictures/patterns/instructions of things that inspire & then include the embellishments, etc needed. I think everyone has basics like glue stick/tape/scissors :)

That was my thinking on this one bieng international. However! I am willing to do a regional one once this one is done, or someone else can host the same one only regional. Either way is fine with me!

Hi all! Although the list suggests glue, tape, etc.I think most of us would have that so I will not be "offended" if I do not receive any. This swap sounds like fun and is out of my "box" so I am really looking forward to it.

Please no scented stickers, etc as I am highly allergic.

I love international swaps......you can receive some pretty cool & unique items!
