You will create a pair of handmade earrings and a handmade card. You must attach the earrings to the card in a unique way or incorporate them into the design of the card. BOTH EARRINGS AND CARD MUST BE HANDMADE BY YOU! Use quality materials and make a beautiful card and earring set that you would be thrilled to receive. Inside the card you MUST include a short note for your partner. You MUST mail your card with earrings attached in a padded/bubble envelope to ensure safe delivery, as to not cause damage to the earrings. (please note if you have metal allergies do not sign up for this swap) This swap is international and the requirements are high. No newbies allowed. All others must have a well-filled out profile with aleast 10 snail mail swaps, and a rating of 5! Sorry no exceptions this time. If you do not meet requirements - do not sign up - you will be banned. If you have a color or length preference on your earrings please list below. Most importantly - BE CREATIVE & HAVE FUN!

My preference - no longer than an 1 1/2 inches - colors I'm open but nothing too neon and bright. Love - brown, turquoise, blue, pink, green, purple, black, clear, crystal, and stone!

YEAH! I Love to make both...Please don't send any plastic beads...yucky :) Something springy or summary (are those even words !?!) would be great, and I love dangles! Have Fun!

No - rinfrog - no one should send plastic beaded earrings because the requiements state - "Quality" - and I don't consider plastic, quality! (and not to offend anyone, yes, there are some pretty plastic beads - just not for this swap) :o)

Just so I know. I was told in a different swap that acrylic is not plastic. I want to join, but I want to know that I am getting real stone, crystal, wood, clay, etc...not acrylic, plastic, etc. I use mostly bali, swarozski, sterling; glass and real stones for earrings. I feel I got really burned on a swap and I just want to know the ground rules.

No acrylic beads - which is a type of plastic.

Just a reminder - must have a 5 rating. Maybe another time I could open it up to those with a 4.9 or above. Sorry

I fancy long earrings that are plain (nothing cutesy at all) or big rings with nothing on them. Black and silver are almost the only colours I use but I am of course open to new ideas. Recycled and unusual ideas works very well on me :))))))
