Children’s Matchbox Drawer Summer Craft Kit

I recently received a wonderful craft supplies filled 8 drawer matchbox from OfficeWeed. No sooner had I opened the package my 5 year old fell in love. The next morning I was awaken to a beautiful college he had made using the bits of things in the drawers. I realized at that point that I had received one of the best matchbox swaps ever- one that kept on giving and decided that it would make a lovely kid swap great for summer crafting. So heres the gist:

Take eight 32 count matchboxes, glue them together to form a set of drawers and decorate. Fill each drawer with craft supplies for children. For example:

*stickers

*paper cut outs

*beads

*brads

*coloring supplies

*paper scraps

*foam cut outs

*buttons

*ribbons

*charms

*small rubber stamps

*mini erasers

*anything else craft wise

You or your child can make this, but the main purpose is child participation and receiving as a fun summer craft. I understand that in some cases children that may be receiving this craft might not be skilled or old enough to make the drawers. This doesn’t mean you can’t make it however and give your partner’s to your child or grandchild ect. This does mean that you should rate accordingly- if you receive one from a child then rate so with respect. Send extras for hearts if you like or even manufacture craft kits in the drawers with directions. You might consider who will be receiving the craft- boy, girl, age, interests ect. Like wise folks might consider posting such info under comments or maybe contacting partners to touch base. Make this hours of fun!
