Description:

For this swap we will be sending something for our partner's baby to the value of approx £5 GBP or approx 5.75 Euros (excluding postage and packing). By this I mean things such as clothing and/or age appropriate toys. Please DO NOT send food or feeding specific items such as bottles because you do not know if the baby is breast or bottle fed, and quite frankly I would be highly insulted to recieve a bottle for my daughter when I breastfeed her. However things like melamine cups, plates etc are OK to send if this is what you choose to send. Use your imagination. Think about sending a package that your partner would love to recieve for their baby!

For this swap you will need to live in Europe. You will also need to have a baby UNDER 18 MONTHS OLD (it does not have to be your own baby) and you MUST leave the following details in the 'comments' section below:

Whose baby it is, the name of baby, sex of baby, age of baby (in months) and clothing size required (for if your partner chooses to send clothing). Please be aware that each country will have it's own clothing sizing....hence why you are also telling your partner the age of the baby as well, so please use your common sense when purchasing clothing!

Please do not join if you are going to list a million and one things you don't want to recieve. This is a sender's choice swap. However please list anything important below (e.g. allergies if you think your partner might send toiletries, or if your baby takes a bigger size clothing that their age....things like that).

[Please note that unfortunately you cannot join if you do not have a baby under 18 months old, or if you are trying for, or have not yet had your baby - although I would like to wish you lots of luck with that - I just have to draw the line somewhere]

To join you MUST have completed at least 5 mailed swaps (that you have been rated for) AND have a rating of 4.8 or above (unless you can explain it to me in a PM, I will consider allowing you to join). If you do not meet this criteria or I consider your profile to look a little flakey, I reserve every right to ban you from the swap. I will check ALL profiles before allocating partners. Also, remember you MUST list the details of the baby in the 'comments' section.

When partners are allocated, please check the 'comments' section for the details of who you need to send to. Make sense?

Seeing as this is your opportunity to spoil someone else's baby, PLEASE DO NOT FLAKE - you will be flaking on a baby.

If you have any questions, please PM me.

My daughter is Bronte, she is nearly 10 months old, so if you choose to send summer style clothing, please send suitable for a 9-12 month old (this is the sizing we have here in the UK) or if you're sending autumn/winter style clothing please send suitable for a 12-18 month old. Thanks.

My daughter's name is Anouk, she is 10 weeks old now (born 24th of march 2010) She is a very big girl... she is 61 cm en her weight is almost 7kg. She wears a size 68 (4-6 months)

I sometimes try to dress her girly, and sometimes sturdy :) I could use summer clothing in this size, when you like to send winter style clothing, i could use size 74 (12months).

I love those rompers with short sleeves and short trouser legs, they are so cute and handy when it's hot outside.

I do have a lot of bibs, but they are also welcome.

I love all baby-stuff :p

My sons name is Julian. He is 7,5 months old and wears size 74-80 ( 9-12 months -he s a bit chubby). If you send winther clothes, pls send size 80-86 (12-18 months) We are really open to and happy about whatever you send, but if you like to do handwork, we are missing somekind of 'sleppycloth'. All his goodnight animals are considered 'playtime' I am afraid;o)) Thanks

Hi 79hejo - thanks for joining!

Do you mean that you are looking for something like a bedtime comforter? Like a sleepy time blanket or teddy with small blanket? Does that make sense....?

79hejo 06/ 6/2010 #

Hi smilernpb. Yes that is exactly what I mean;o) he loves to suck on small items (like fx the washing instructions on clothes and teddys) so I was thinking some kind of cloth with ' small' items on -if that makes sense;o) Could deffently be a ' teddyblanket' but with 'small' things on.. (sorry I am at lost of the english words for this;o)) Had so much fun on the last swap , so I am very happy to be in this one;o)

It's OK, 79hejo, I think some things can be difficult to translate. Not a problem, but I know exactly what you mean. I hope your partner is able to help.

I think 79hejo is talking about a taggie blanket like this- http://www.initial-impressions.net/infant/taggiebabyblanket.shtm

Hi I have a little boy who is just 3 months old called Alexander. He is in Uk size 6/9 months or if you send winter items please get 9/12 months. No dummies or soothers please as he does not have them. Any sort of clothes are fine but I do like unusual babygros ie he has a dinosaur babygro with hood and tail and a dalmation dog one, so anything like that I would love. Strange I know but very cute!! x

79hejo 06/17/2010 #

Yes AprilRosyButt a taggie blanket is exactly what i meant - Thank you;o))) But who ever my partner is I will be very happy regardles what you send:o)
