The last needlebook swap was so awesome. There are some really talented needlebook makers out there. So I am hosting again. The swap is to send 1 handmade needlebook to 1 partner. Swap is international. Be as creative as you wish. Needlepoint, cross stitch, embroidery, altered art, mixed media, fabric, etc,. p.s. it is not necessasary to include needles.

Is a needle book the same as a pincushion?

Hi Inga, no a needlecase is for storing your needles. It folds fairly flat. A pincushion is usually rounder and sturdy enough to stick needles, pins safety pins, anything sharp, into it. Needle cases look like small books. See the ones sold in a store near you. They can be made out of anything and usually, the inside leaves are made of batting.
