Number of swap partners:1
Description:

For this swap, you will make 2 ATCs for your partner. One will be a completed Zentangle, in whatever style you like. The other will be a zentangle string, drawn in pencil onto an ATC-sized piece of card. When your partner receives this, they can fill it in themselves! Simple!

For more information about zentangles click here

So to summarise you will send:
- 1 completed zentangle ATC
- 1 ATC string for your partner to complete IN PENCIL

This is an example of a zentangle string, as I have had some confusion about this, although this one is drawn in pen and yours should be drawn in pencil...

This swap is INTERNATIONAL

so just to make sure I understand, the second ATC is just the outlines of the zentangles?

Mojo 06/16/2010 #

Yep, that's correct. I've received them before, and I find you end up with something very different when you use someone else's outline to your own! :)

Hi i just read your answer to the question i was going to ask. so for me to make it clear in my head. :) by outline you mean just the outside line of the zentangle. right? or the lines inside it but not the design. sorry for the silly question but i dont want to make it wrong. thanks for being patient.

This is an example of a zentangle string!! I'll add it to the swap description.

MAGGIEMAY 06/18/2010 #

kataish 06/21/2010 #

Well I've been doodling in this style for years, since before it had a name ("zentangle"), so why not!? :D

Question, does it have to be a string or can we do an image for the zentangle string ATC? Don't mind do either, just wondering.
