Description:

I absolutely love journaling, and hopefully you do too! This swap is for those who love long letters, journaling, and looking for new pen pals, and who want to combine all these!

You'll keep a journal for 2 weeks, with pictures and souvenirs, then send it to your partner!

RULES: 1. Record your daily life for a minimum of 10 days. You can begin as soon as you sign up, if you wish. Therefore you'll have at least 3 weeks to complete the journal. 2. Include a minimum of 10 photos, preferably 1 for each entry. Don't include 10 pictures for one day. We want a diversity of your life! Include a description with each photo. 3. Include a minimum of 3 souvenirs. This can be a postcard, matchbook, sticker, etc. It doesn't have to be a big item. 4. Your journal can be store-bought, handmade, in a binder, whatever. 5. On the first page, please include an intro page! We want to know who you are!

PLEASE no vulgarity, nudity, anything offensive. We are here to make friends, not offend others.

RATING: If the journal you receive meets all the requirements, please give your partner a 5. If it was extra special, leave a heart :-) Also let your partner know if you want to continue the journal with them!

PARTICIPANTS: This will be an International Swap, though I do have a USA only version up also. Newbies welcomed with WELL filled out profiles. Must have at least a 4.5 rating to participate if you are not a newbie. No unexplained 1's or 3's. If you need to message me regarding your rating, feel free :-) I will ban if I deem necessary!

Does this have to be hand-written or can be typed and printed-out? Photos have to be studio-developed or can they be simply printed-out on regular paper? Since this is not specified it seems any form is ok then...?

This is such a cool idea! If you decide to do this again I'll join. I haven't got time right now but will want to do it in the future.

Any form is fine! Just be creative :-)

I lead a VERY full busy FUN life. 3 kids, husband, work in a wedding chapel, & volunteer. Not counting my hobbies! So that was my inspiration :-) If anyone wants to do this privately, just lmk!

Does anyone have any experience mailing journals? I've done one and it got lost in the mail. I don't want that to happen again!!!

So if you have any tips or suggestions on wrapping and shipping, I'd love to hear ideas... I'm putting a lot into this journal and I'd really like it to be delivered.

Thanks!!
