Description:

Create 1 ATC for 1 partner. Here's the catch - Your ATC must be made from your "trash". The base, the background and the added elements should all be made from what we would typically throw away. That's not to say that you can't add one or two small elements using something in your stash. But I expect 90% of it to be made from trash items.

For instance, the base can be made from a cereal box, tissue box or maybe packaging from your paper craft embellishments. The base needs to be made from something sturdy, of course. Your background can be made from newspaper, magazine or calendar pages, grocery ads, etc. Your embellishments can be flowers made from scrap paper, newspaper, etc. Use bottle caps or pop tops, tags from clothing, used postage stamps, etc. for your embellishments. You know that serrated metal edge on the plastic wrap or foil boxes??? Yeah, makes pretty cool ATC trim. Use your imagination!!

Now for the "Bonus" part. Make your envelope for mailing the ATC to your partner from recycled trash and I will put your name into a drawing for a prize. Your partner must email me and tell me that your envelope was made from a recycled product. When I hear from your partner, I will add your name to the "hat" for drawing.

Any questions??? Just send me a message and I'll get back to you. However, I am leaving to go out of town in the morning and won't be back online until Tuesday, July 13.

Since this is not profile based, we can go ahead and get started so I will make the due date fairly soon after the sign up date deadline.

(Insert "flaker/rating" blah, blah, blah.)

Well...I usually do make my ATCs using "trash". ha! :) I call them "re-purposed elements" but it is what might have ended up in the trash, if I didn't make art. So, this is right up my alley! :)

Same here! Almost everything I use is recycled! I'm in!
