We all go though our stash from time to time and think "Why did I buy this yard?", right? Maybe it isn't the right color. Maybe you wanted to try florals and never got around to it. Maybe you thought a pink blankie would be cute...and you really needed blue. Whatever the reason, take that yard that keeps getting pushed to the bottom of your stash, and move it to the top of someone else's! Our buyer's mistake is someone's swapping pleasure! Ideally, the only cost to this swap is postage. Take a yard already in your stash and get a great yard in return! Stick with quilting cottons, linens, home dec canvas or blends. Before sending stretch knits, tulle, suitings, etc...check with your partner to see if they can use them. No swappers with recent 1 ratings. New swappers with filled out profiles welcome.

sorry but the person getting mine will be getting more than a yard. :) I have this beautiful fabric, buttons and thread. I love this but I would never wear the dress I planned on making. So I sending it to a new home. This swap makes me happy as the fabric will not go to waste and someone might just love it like I did.

I'm new to this. I see I still need to be assigned a partner. I've got a yard of 'sensible' fabric that I'm sending but can I suggest that if my partner has fabric printed with insects or with science-related graphics that I will be doing the happy dance when my yard arrives?

I only make quilts but I do use decorator fabrics sometimes. I will definitely be sending quilting type cotton. If I can I'll try to suit my partner but, as the swap says, it will be something already have.

Cottons or home deco fabrics in autumn colors would be a super bonus! Can use any tho am going to start quilting...soon lol
