A Little Birdie Told Me – Rubber Stamped Card

I seem to have collected quite a few bird rubber stamps, and the way to start using them, I guess, is to host a few swaps! For this first swap, you will send your 2 partners the following items:

• 1 bird-themed folded greeting card, made by you, using one or more of your bird stamps.
• 4 assorted stamped bird images (all different, or 2 each of 2 designs)

Please also decorate your mailing envelope in a bird theme as well. Here’s an easy envelope decorating idea: drag a colored ink pad directly across the corner of your envelope and then stamp a black bird image in it. Perhaps this will inspire other ideas too (smile).

The Fine Details

• Stamp clean images (no messy lines or blurry images).
• Don’t stamp the image on the card and call it done. Be creative (with ink, paper layers, add a quote, etc.) For ideas, look at your craft magazines or search the internet – there are tons of ideas for creating bird-themed cards.
• No stickers allowed.
• Sender’s choice on colors (although if you’re like me, you might want to check your partner’s profile to see if they have certain colors they really enjoy).
• Have fun!
