Private, Invite Only Swap Christmas to me is a lot of things. First and foremost, I am a Christian. But aside from that, it is such a "homey" holiday to me. I propose a swap for just that--to make your partner feel cozy, comfy, and just "Christmassy". The price limit is flexible, since we're all good swappers. lol But really, it shouldn't be a high-dollar swap, since Christmas is also the time to go broke! I was thinking how I love handmade items. And what better time to give cozy, handmade, heartfelt things? Now, I'm no seamstress, so this is open to a lot of various things. Sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, cardmaking, etc. Some ideas are: mittens, scarf, cookies, notecards, ornament, etc. You can include bought items, as well. I just thought it may make the receiver feel more special to know you created something for them. Maybe a warm drink, a mug, or just a surprise from their profile. It's up to you--just make it special! Don't forget to include a card, of course! And it might be nice to wrap your creations. This is open to all, because a lot of handmade items don't weigh much. Happy Holidays! |
