Description:

You will create three wonky house blocks and send one to three different partners. The size is 9.5" x 9.5" unfinished. No need to be precise in your piecing, but make sure your block measures 9.5" x 9.5" when you're done. Add strips of background if you have to. Utilize your scraps, get funny with novelty prints, or go buy something you've been drooling over. Colors and background selection are your decision. Feel free to add embellishments like embroidery, buttons, beads, etc.

I'd like to host a few of these wonky house block swaps and maybe you can put your blocks together for a fun neighborhood wall hanging or lap quilt.

The swap is open to all levels of quilters. If you have flaked on other swaps, I'll go ahead and remove you before the fun begins. Please don't join if you're pressed for time or can't make the deadline. There's always next time! You can play with us then!

I made mine yesterday. They're great! (except for the first one that turned out to be about 11 x 17 inches :) These were such fun. Vee

I made mine too and they are fun to make but I found it harder to be "Wonky"! I had to work to make them come out that way!?

Yay! I'm excited! Starting mine now!

Kinda late to be asking, but can these be applique? Or do they have to be made like the tutorial?
