Description:

This is the first in what I hope will be a series of crossword swaps. Someone was doing these in another group and I had a lot of fun with them.

Make 1 crossword and send to 2 partners. Or I guess you can make 2 different crosswords, but it's not a must. The theme is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the series. Hopefully we'll follow up with Angel, Firefly, Dr. Horrible, etc.

The crossword must have at least 12 clues. They can be names, quotes, anything from the series. I use this site which outputs nicely into .pdf format and allows me to save a copy, and save the answer key! You can use the site or make them by hand on graph paper.

If you leave the spaces between words, please shade them in or otherwise indict there's a space there. For example, if the answer is "Buffy Summers" that would be 13 squares without the space, but 14 with the space, so it could get confusing. Also, if there's a hyphen or apostrophe, you might want to fill that in too. And, pleasepleaseplease double check your spelling!

You can, but don't have to, mail the answer key with the crossword. Please fold it up if you do, so your partner doesn't accidentally see it. If you don't send it, be prepared to help out your partner if/when s/he asks for an answer to a clue.

Open to everyone in the group!

To recap:

  • 2 partners, 1 crossword each (can be the same one)

  • minimum 12 clues

  • double check spelling and be prepared to give the answers
