Description:

If any of you are struggling through the recession like me, you've probably had a similar summer to mine, with no money for a fun vacation. Since we can't join the swaps about our summer vacation, I thought I would make a swap specifically to relate how lame our summer was!

In this swap, the only requirement is to write your partner a letter about your summer. Let's make this at least 1 full page if using regular 8.5x11 paper (or 2 pages if using a letterset or stationary). You can write about what you did over the summer, what you wanted to be doing, the factors that prohibited you from doing what you wanted, any interesting day trips you took that had to substitute for a vacation. You can be as creative as you want with this! You can also insert photos of any interesting places you went to or any flat little souvenirs you picked up along the way (pamphlets, postcards, etc.) but this isn't required. The only requirement is to write a letter and post it to your partner. To keep postage down, let's keep this flat mail.

Since this is a good group, I won't put any requirements on the swap to join but if you have any low ratings on your profile, please PM me to explain or you may risk being banned.

Just curious... do people expect HAND written? or is it acceptable to write it up on MS Word and print it out?

Sorry, just saw that comment but yes, it's definitely ok to type it if you would rather.

Looks like it will be a small swap but that's ok with me. I've ony ever coordinated small swaps.
