I got this idea from Mom2EmmaLanea. She had to cancel her swap, and I decided to do it. The idea is basically the same, but I have changed a few of the rules. It will be USA only. You will have three partners. Send each partner a tote bag that you have decorated/embellished. You can check their profile for ideas, like favorite colors, etc. The tote bags can be any color; I have seen several different kinds, like plain white canvas, blue, and lime green. There is not a dollar amount on this swap, just make nice totes. You will have 4 weeks from the date that partners are assigned to decorate and send out your totes. You must have a 4.5 or higher to play, and no recent no sends. Newbies are welcome, as long as your profile is filled out. I reserve the right to ban anyone that I think wonâ€™t play nice. I'm in since it's US only. I'm only participating in US & Canada swaps, overseas postage has gotten to expensive. I will only do overseas for ATC's or stickers anymore.

I decided to do it just USA only because of postage. My mom, who is on swap-bot as well, had a partner in Switzerland in one of her swaps, and her postage on the package was awful! I am thinking I need to win the lottery if I want to do any international swapping.

Thanks ladybug! I was doing the one I had international because it would only cost 5-6 bucks to mail overseas. I understand that's too much for some! Thanks for starting it back up again!

I'd love to do this one, but don't have the time to do up 3 bags. If you do this swap again later with a smaller number of partners, i'll definitely join then.

The reason I made it three bags is because before Mom2EmmaLanea canceled, I had bought a packet of three bags at Wal-Mart. That is also why there is 4 weeks between the sign up and send by dates. However, I do understand how you feel. If I start up another one, I will let you know.

Thanks so much for doing this one. I am like everyone else and just can't afford to do anything outside of the US much any more----so many times, the postage costs way more than the pkg is worth! Three sounds good to me, as that means I will GET 3 tote bags as well---it should be easier to do since the time frame is a little longer. I'm looking forward to this one, for sure!
