What do you mean by "cabin" ? A small house ? Or a cabin on a boat ?Or ... ? (sorry I have several synonymous in my english-french dictionnary ^^)

We have log cabins here. There are beach cabins. Boat cabins. Just whatever your translation is!

May I ask, if its ok, that its not only a new pc. BUT its of a lodge, that looks like a cabin? I have a pc of Great Wolf Lodge, near us in our state. Ifthisisok, I WILL be joining this when it gets closer ot the due date.

also if the type of card I mentioned earlier dosnt work, I have a nice vintage pc of the inside of a cabin, & it says on it that its the interior of a memroial cabin.

I can't join this swap because there are absolutely no cabin or lodge postcards here. But BBQ, your question made me curious. What exactly is the difference between a cabin and a lodge? How do you know it's a lodge, if it's a lodge that looks like a cabin?

A log lodge or the inside is fine. A cabin is rustic, usually small, think one family. While a lodge can house more than one! is fancier! like the alpine lodges you see in European pictures! Hope that helps.

Ah, I get it. Thanks for your answers! And still no cabins or lodges around here, just the sea and lighthouses ... I definitely need to get some postcards from elsewhere the next time I travel.
