What happens to me when I make envelopes out of 12x12 sheets is that I am left with wide strips which of course, I can’t throw away. They go into a shoebox for use in other projects. Needless to say, my shoebox is now full. Last night after making an envelope from yet another 12x12 sheet, I thought of what I think will be a fun challenge. For your partner, you will create a minimum of 4 different items from a single 12x12 sheet of scrapbook paper. The idea though, is to try not to throw any of it away. For example, you could make different sized envelopes, different sized cards, ATCs, bookmarks, postcards, tea bag holders, etc. The tiniest of pieces could be used as decoration on the items you make. Add them as embellishments to the inside of cards or use them as ATC borders, etc. You could punch shapes and use them too, or give a few to your partner for their future use. Oh, I’m getting excited just thinking of the many different ways to use up the 12x12 sheet. Some of the 12x12 sheets on the market today are double-sided, which could add to the fun. Please put a little effort into your items and send something you would be happy to receive. Won’t you come out and join this fun paper challenge? This swap is sender’s choice. Newbies welcome with a well-filled out profile. Everyone else will need at least a 4.8 rating. I will check profiles carefully and ban anyone I think might flake. Please play nice! |
