*this is an international swap i have been wanting to join all those dog lovers swaps but i just cant afford to pay pet store prices & being a DIY girl at heart i just had to ask....why not do it yourself? swappers send your dog loving partners 2 handmade dog related items that "fido" can actually use!!! some examples are... sofites to play with and love (yes some dogs even go to bed with their favorite stuffed animals.) homemade treats - biscuits (check for allergies first) rope-fleece braided chew toys a groovy collar in your partners favorite colors perhaps, please post how many dogs you have and their size and other relevant info about your furry family member:) wet felted balls (i just discovered our new puppy loves these!! she found them amongst our baby's toys...where else!) hey i even found diy instructions online for reconstructing a sweatshirt that "fifi" can wear!!! and whatever else u might think of, just be creative ( no dirty tennis balls stuffed in sweatsocks please) and make sure its mostly handmade . no swappers with ratings of less than 4.7, no newbies, sorry...no no-sends,no flakers!!!!!!!! no way!!!!dont even try!!all suspect swappers will be beheaded! gosh only kidding but i reserve the right to ban those i know have a histtory of nosends. EDIT***** i had to extend the send date because i am realising that some swappers have more than one dog, thus you would be making more than 2 handmade gifts.i just wanted to be fair..so lets say your partner has 3 dogs then please make at least 1 gift per dog, i know i said min. 2 handmade things...we will keep that if your partner has only 1 dog but if there are more than 2 dogs just make 1 gift per dog) if you receive more than 2 gifts please give your partner the heart they deserve:) any questions? please write them here of e mail me thru swap-bot

Curly is a 2 year old Corgi/Schipperke mix. He is totally black with a Corgi physique, and weighs around 25-30 pounds. He loves rope toys and soft toys - no squeakers please!! No known treat allergies. He gets a "cookie" every day when he gets in his kennel when we all leave the house.

anam i totally agree, two of our puppys favorite toys are toilet paper rolls....and dirty socks!

the idea for this swap was for us crafters to make something for the furry family members in our lives!!

that and also i just cant afford buying toys , etc. at the pet store:)

maybe you will join afterall!

This sounds fun! I have an 18lb Min Pin (she's not fat,just freakishly tall...) who adores peanut butter treats and toys that don't squeak. And if she doesn't like what you make, we always have a foster dog (right now, its a Chihuahua, but by November it could be anything) so one of them is bound to like what you make. :D

we have a new 10 week portuguese water dog,"gita" shes verry sweet:) you can see her on my flickr site:)

she is black so bright colors look best on her if you were making a collar .but her size will be medium-ish...hahaha

please dont make dog treats with sugar...any others are welcome but i ask you list all ingredients on paper with the box:)

Oh, how fun!

My 45lb smooth coated Border Collie is a very hyper, athletic dog who will play non-stop, any type of toy excites her. She's currently being trained in agility and obedience and is rewarded with toys and treats. She has food allergies to beef so please no cow products, but she is allowed to eat anything else. Also something to consider is she has quite the collection of bandannas yet she never has enough, red looks the best on her ;)

Cordy is a big chow-German shepherd mix who loves small toys that she can hide from ...

Kaylee, a small-ish Chinese shar pei who has all manner of allergies and illnesses, no no food stuffs, please. Her most favorite thing in the world (other than tormenting her big sister) is getting a big floppy toy and smacking herself in the head with it while she shakes it.

Please, no food and no collars. Everything else is great! Both look cute in bandanas, and I'm told that all of their current toys are boring. :)

I have a 18 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Amour and a 60 lb Golden Retriever named Mollie Mae. They love to wear bows and love big chew toys! They love treats (they even know the word and run straight to their treat jar). They also love when I dress them up lol. Anything you send them they will love

i have extended the date by 5 days because there are still 2 no senders.i didnt log in this weekend but my package is on its way, if you cant make the swap or are late please let you partner and i know about it, we can always work things out!
